Ricardo Silva

Ricardo Silva has extensive experience in the legal field, particularly in oil and gas-related transactions and projects in Africa and South America. Currently serving as Immediate Past President of the Association of International Energy Negotiators since May 2022, Ricardo previously held the positions of President and President Elect. As a Partner at Miranda & Associados since September 2004, Ricardo coordinates a team of attorneys focusing on energy and natural resources. Prior roles include Partner and Co-Head of Energy and Natural Resources at Miranda Law Firm in 2009, Managing Attorney at Miranda Alliance Houston from 2006 to 2008, and various attorney positions at multiple law firms, including CERBA Sociedade de Advogados. Ricardo holds a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Lisbon, completed in 2004, and a Law Degree in Public Law from the same university, obtained in 2000.
