Mike Dehart

Mike DeHart has extensive experience in the refining industry, currently serving as the Executive Director of Maintenance Excellence at Valero since May 2000. Throughout the tenure at Valero, Mike has held various key positions, including Optimization & Planning Director, Refinery Operations Director, and Central Maintenance Director, overseeing the daily operations of Complex 4 while managing a team of seven direct reports and approximately 35 operators. Prior to joining Valero, Mike worked at Exxon as a Mechanical Engineer at the Benicia Refinery from June 1996 to May 2000. Mike holds an MBA in Executive Management from Saint Mary's College of California and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
