Rod Kennard has over 30 years of work experience in various leadership and management roles. Rod began their career in the United States Army, where they served for almost a decade and reached the position of Company Commander. Following their military service, Kennard transitioned into the corporate world and held several key positions in different industries.

Rod'searly corporate experience includes their role as a Manager of Project Management & Engineering at Corning Incorporated, where they oversaw project delivery and managed a portfolio of projects valued at over $80M.

Kennard also served as a Vice President and Board Director at Veteran's Passport To Hope, a nonprofit organization that focuses on raising awareness about the challenges faced by veterans.

In the private sector, they worked at AkzoNobel as the National Director of Sales, Government Services, where they successfully penetrated the government sales sector and led a team to develop strategies for growth.

Rod then transitioned to KOTA Longboards, a startup business manufacturing longboards, where they served as the Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer.

Kennard later joined TruTeam, where they assumed roles such as Regional Sales Manager, Regional Director of Sales, and eventually became the Regional Director - Sales and Operations. During their time at TruTeam, they consistently achieved milestones and contributed to profit improvement and increased sales productivity.

In their most recent role, Kennard worked at Valet Living where they served as the Vice President of Business Operations. Rod was responsible for overseeing the delivery of amenity services to a large number of multi-family communities in the Western United States. Additionally, they played a crucial role in integrating multiple newly acquired businesses during their time at Valet Living.

Rod Kennard has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology/Aviation from Truman State University. Rod also holds a Masters Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University School of Business. In addition, they are a licensed commercial pilot and has a certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt.
