Christopher Johnston, AIA has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture. Christopher started their career as an Intern/Building Information Modeler Technician at Smith LaRock Architecture P.C in 2007. Christopher then worked as a CAD/Revit Operator at Martin/Martin Consulting Engineers from 2008 to 2009. At RTA Architects, Christopher worked as an Architectural Intern specializing in healthcare, education, and commercial projects from 2012 to 2013. Christopher joined Merrick & Company in 2014 and held the positions of Architectural Designer II from 2014 to 2018, and Architect from 2018 to 2019. Christopher then moved to 2WR + Partners in 2019, where they worked as a Project Architect until 2020. Currently, they are working as a Project Architect at Valhalla Engineering Group, LLC since July 2020. Christopher's experience includes working on projects in various sectors and they have a strong understanding of construction drawings in both Revit and AutoCAD.

Christopher Johnston, AIA pursued their education in Architecture starting in 2004. From 2004 to 2007, they attended the Western State College of Colorado and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sustainable Architecture. Building upon their knowledge and passion for the field, they furthered their education at the University of Colorado Denver from 2010 to 2012, where they completed a Masters of Architecture degree.
