Mathias Kindberg

Mathias Kindberg is a software engineer at Validio. Mathias previously worked as a master's thesis student at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, exploring applications of machine learning and data in the maritime industry. Mathias also worked as chief officer on the M/S Juno for three summers. Mathias's responsibilities included planning safety exercises for the crew, educating students from Marina Läroverket, communicating with the shore organization, and taking part in trying to create an open and fun environment for everyone on board and give the guests an awesome experience.

Mathias Kindberg has a M. Sc. in Engineering Physics and Software Engineering from Lund University, as well as a Fartygsbefäl klass VII (merchant marine) degree from Chalmers University of Technology. Mathias also spent an exchange year in the US during high school, attending Rowlett High School.
