Fergus Strangways-Dixon is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in platform development and team leadership. Currently serving as the Lead Software Engineer at Validus Risk Management, Fergus has led a team of engineers to modernize legacy products and implement AWS serverless technologies, enhancing operational efficiency and real-time data capabilities. Previous roles include Co-Founder and CTO of The Crowd App, where Fergus developed a scalable platform to inform South Africans about public space density, and a Software Engineer at takealot.com, focusing on complex challenges in the e-commerce supply chain.
