Thiaku Murugam

Thiaku Murugam has extensive experience in information technology and retail operations, currently serving as Assistant Vice President of Retail and Projects at Valiram since November 2008. In this role, Thiaku leads the technology strategy and digital transformation initiatives across nine countries, overseeing critical travel retail projects and the delivery of various essential platforms including ERP, POS, CRM, SCM, warehousing, and e-commerce. Previous positions include Senior IT Manager for Enterprise Application Systems at Valiram, System Analyst at Hewo Sdn. Bhd., IT Engineer at PMG KLANG Sdn Bhd, and Software Engineer at ITinSight Sdn Bhd, among others. Thiaku's academic credentials include a Master of Computer Science in Software Engineering from Multimedia University, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering and a Diploma in Electronics Engineering.
