Rui Madeira

Rui Madeira has been working in the software engineering field since 2016. In 2016, they worked as a Business Intelligence Analyst at SDG Group, using QlikSense and QlikView technologies. In 2017, they became a Software Engineer Trainee at the European Space Agency (ESA), using TypeScript, Angular, Java, Spring, Python, Django, Docker, and GitLab technologies. In 2018, they started working as a Software Engineer at EDISOFT - DEFENCE & AEROSPACE TECHNOLOGIES, using JavaScript, React, Java, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, and GitLab technologies. Since December 2019, they have been a Tech Lead in this role. In 2020, they began working as a Tech Lead and Front-end Developer at Valispace, using TypeScript, Angular, Python, Django, and GitHub technologies.

Rui Madeira received their B.S. of Computer Engineering from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa in the field of Ciências da Computação e Informática from 2011 to 2014. Rui then pursued an M.S. of Computer Engineering from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa in the same field from 2014 to 2016, and completed a semester of the same degree at Sapienza Università di Roma in 2015.
