Rachelle Canones is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community outreach and administrative roles. Currently serving as a Community Outreach Specialist at Vallejo Flood & Wastewater District since October 2021, Rachelle previously held various positions at Solano County from June 2013 to October 2021, including Clerk of the Board and Administrative Assistant for the Solano EMS Agency. With a solid background in sales and marketing, Rachelle has also worked as Community Relations Director at Emeritus Senior Living, National Sales Manager at Westin San Francisco Market Street, Director of Sales and Marketing at Dusit Inya Lake Resort Yangon, and Director of Membership and Marketing at Club Punta Fuego. Rachelle began a career in sales and marketing at Baguio Country Club, where the role was held from March 1997 to April 2004. Rachelle holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management from the University of the Philippines and has pursued further education at Cornell University and St. Scholastica's Academy Marikina.

MISSION Our mission is to make Vallejo a healthy place to live and work. We do this by keeping the city's wastewater and stormwater free from pollution. We employ around 90 people who work in the following areas: wastewater treatment, maintenance (mechanics, IT and electricians), field operations, environmental services, safety and risk, finance, engineering, and administration. We manage Vallejo's treatment plant and more than 40 pump stations, and maintain hundreds of miles of sewer and stormwater pipes.
