Daniel Ponce

Daniel Ponce, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Daniel began their career in the US Army as an Operations Officer, holding various leadership positions both in the United States and overseas. Daniel later transitioned to the pharmaceutical industry, working as a Professional Healthcare Representative at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. In this role, they were responsible for generating sales and meeting quotas. Following their time at Pfizer, Daniel worked as the Director of Business Development & Provider Relations at Valley Regional Medical Center, where they focused on increasing inpatient and outpatient volume as well as hospital revenue. Daniel then moved on to GE Healthcare, serving as a Senior Account Manager for the South Texas markets. In this position, they were responsible for sales of diagnostic imaging capital equipment. Daniel then joined UHS as the System Director of Business Development, overseeing all aspects of business development for the South Texas Health System. Currently, they hold the position of System Director of Strategy at Valley Baptist Health System.

Daniel Ponce holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Texas A&M University. Daniel also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Our Lady of the Lake University.
