Toni Powell

Toni Powell's work experience begins in 1994 as an Electrical Engineer at Emhiser Research. From 1997 to 1999, they worked at Sierra Nevada Corporation as a Test Engineer/Acting Test Manager. In 1999, Toni joined Hamilton Company as a Quality Assurance Engineer and later became the Supervisor of the Electromagnetic Assembly Department. In 2001, they joined NV Energy, starting as an Electric Metering Engineer and progressing to various roles such as Distribution Design Engineer, Senior Regional Engineer, Supervisor of Distribution Design, and finally, Distribution Design Director for Northern Nevada. Currently, Toni is the Director of Engineering at Valley Electric Association, Inc., starting in 2023.

Toni Powell obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Toni completed their undergraduate education from 1987 to 1994. Additionally, they received certifications as a Professional Engineer from the State of Nevada in June 2009 and from the State of California in January 2009.
