Edgar Mendez

Edgar Mendez has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Edgar has held various roles in different companies over the years. Currently, they are the Vice President of Finance at Valley Fruit and Produce Company since May 2023. Previously, they worked at Wells Fargo, where they served as Vice President of Financial Reporting & Analytics from October 2013 to April 2023. Prior to that, they were an Associate Vice President and Finance Manager at Wells Fargo from May 2010 to October 2013. Edgar also has experience in board directorship and private equity as they served as the Board Director and Vice President of Private Equity at the Association for Corporate Growth from January 2009 to December 2010. Edgar also contributed as a Founding Member and Co-Chair of Membership at the Latino Business Chamber of Greater Los Angeles from June 2009 to April 2010. Furthermore, they worked as a Managing Director and Senior Consultant at EGM & Company from November 2008 to April 2010. Additionally, they held various roles at Gateway, including Director of Finance, Treasury Director, Senior Finance Manager, Senior Manager of Partner Management, and Finance Manager, from June 1999 to October 2005. Edgar started their career as an Analyst at Merrill Lynch & Co. from June 1995 to June 1999.

Edgar Mendez obtained their High School Diploma from Ventura HS, graduating in 1991. Edgar went on to pursue a degree in Business Economics at UCLA and graduated with a BA in 1995.
