Charles Higgins

Charles Higgins, RD CSR, has extensive experience in the field of dietetics, currently serving as a Homecare Dietitian at Valley Home Care since October 2015, providing nutrition consultations to homebound patients. Additionally, Charles has been a Clinical Dietitian at Encompass Health since May 2015, working with inpatients in rehabilitation following the merger with Healthsouth. As a Renal Dietitian at Fresenius Medical Care since September 2013, Charles focuses on specialized nutritional care for patients with kidney issues. Previous experience includes a role as a Clinical Dietitian at Catholic Health System from September 2008 to August 2013 and an internship in Public Affairs for the US Department of Health & Human Services in 2010. Charles earned a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics/Nutrition from Buffalo State University and has educational roots from the State University of New York at Brockport and Kenmore East Senior High School.
