Matthew B.

Matthew B. is an Embedded Software Engineer at Valley Tech Systems, Inc. since May 2021, contributing to defense projects with a focus on open architecture, software infrastructure, and signal processing. Prior experience includes serving as a Computer Scientist for the United States Air Force from August 2018 to May 2021, where Matthew developed software within a large monolithic codebase to enhance warfighter capabilities. An internship as a software integration, verification, and test intern at the US Department of the Air Force provided experience in running hardware simulator tests. Additional roles include transcribing and closed-captioning academic content, updating a legacy database at Naval Reactors, and working in food service at Spartan Shops while pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from San Jose State University, completed in 2018.
