Rob Brown

Rob Brown has extensive work experience in leadership and management roles. Rob is currently the Vice President of Organizational Development at ValleyStar Credit Union. Prior to that, they worked at Carter Bank & Trust as an AVP and Branch Manager, where they were responsible for improving branch performance and developing employee talent. Rob also worked at Freedom First Credit Union as an Employee Development specialist, focusing on sales, member experience, and employee training. Before that, they served as a VP and In-Store Area Manager/Branch Manager at SunTrust, where they oversaw branch performance and compliance. Additionally, they worked at Best Buy as a District Manager and Field Support, leading various teams and implementing projects to drive growth and talent development.

Rob Brown attended Virginia Western Community College from 1984 to 1986, where they obtained a certification in Electrical, Electronic, and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician. In addition to their formal education, Rob has also pursued additional certifications. Rob became a Six Sigma - Green Belt certified by the American Society For Quality in June 2013.
