Aki Niemi

Aki Niemi is the current President Services at Valmet. Aki has over 20 years of experience in leading businesses in China, for both Metso and Valmet. Aki is responsible for sustainable growth and profitability improvement, with a focus on employee engagement and satisfaction. In their role, they have been successful in selling Valmet's first WtE boilers to China and growing the Services business. Aki is a strong leader with a commitment to developing local competencies.

Aki Niemi has a Master of Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan in Wood Science and Wood Products/Pulp and Paper Technology.
