Anna Salmela

Anna Salmela is an experienced professional in HR and internal communication, currently serving as a Specialist at Valmet since February 2018, where strategic internal communication efforts enhance engagement and global competencies within the Pulp and Energy business line. Prior to this, Anna held various roles at Lionbridge, including Senior Project Manager and Team Lead in Content Services, overseeing content projects and supporting global teams, along with experience as a Project Manager in Technical Writing managing multi-site projects. Earlier project management roles at Sigma Kudos Finland Oy and Translatum Oy involved telecom documentation and translation coordination. Anna also contributed to academia as a Substitute Lecturer at the University of Tampere. Educational background includes a Master's degree in Translation from the University of Tampere and a course in social media marketing from Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
