Mikko Talonen

Mikko Talonen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality control systems and business development within the pulp and paper industry. Currently serving as Director of Quality Control System and Machine Vision at Valmet since September 2016, Mikko leads a product group focused on web-based materials. Previous roles at Valmet include Business Manager and Business Manager for Quality Management Solutions, where responsibilities spanned growth projects and global sales management. Before joining Valmet, Mikko was Head of Business Development at S2B Energia Oy, managing the company's direction in the energy sector. With earlier experience at Metso Automation and M-real OYJ Kirkniemi Mill, Mikko has developed a robust background in product management and production engineering. Mikko holds a Master of Science in Paper Technology and Economics from Helsinki University of Technology.
