Salvatore MacRi

Salvatore Macri is a seasoned compensation specialist with extensive experience spanning over two decades in various roles related to compensation, benefits, and human resources information systems. Currently serving as a Senior Compensation Specialist at Valmet since December 2022, Salvatore has previously held senior positions at the National Bank of Canada, Uni-Select Inc., and Yellow Pages, overseeing the administration and implementation of compensation policies, annual merit processes, and job evaluation processes. Salvatore's career also includes advisory roles at Domtar and Heenan Blaikie LLP, where responsibilities included designing compensation tools and conducting market analysis. Initial experience began at Morneau Shepell, where Salvatore contributed to U.S. pension plan administration and client relations. Salvatore holds a B.A. in Economics from Concordia University.
