Juliane Braun

Juliane Braun is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, particularly in quality control and clinical serology. At Valneva, Juliane has held multiple leadership roles since June 2015, including as Head of Quality Control, overseeing teams in a GMP-regulated environment and ensuring regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement. Previous positions include Senior Manager Clinical Serology and Clinical Serology Scientist, where responsibilities encompassed managing clinical testing, supporting cross-functional collaboration, and technical investigations. Prior to joining Valneva, Juliane served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Medical University of Vienna, leading a small team and continuing a PhD project focused on genetics and microbiology. Juliane holds a PhD from the University of Vienna and a Master's degree in Biomedical Science from The Philipp University of Marburg.
