Paul Porter

Director at Valo Therapeutics

Paul Porter has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and organizations. Paul is currently serving as the Director of Valo Therapeutics (Valo Tx) since 2017. Additionally, they hold the position of Adjunct Associate Professor at the Faculty of Health Science, Curtin University, starting from 2017. Prior to this, they worked as the Director and Clinical Lead at The PHI Project (Partnerships in Intelligent Health) in 2016. Paul has also served as a Director at ALTA Holdings since 2014 and Freeman Road since the same year. Paul'searlier work experience includes roles as Chair of the Human Research and Ethics Committee and Director of Clinical Training (Paediatrics) at Joondalup Health Campus starting from 1996. Paul also worked as a Paediatrician and Paediatric Endocrinologist in their private medical practice since 1996. Lastly, Paul has experience as a Paediatric Emergency Medicine Physician at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children from 1996 to 2021.

Paul Porter attended The University of Western Australia from 1981 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Medicine. Following this, they pursued further education at the Royal Australasian College of Physicians from 1989 to 2017, specializing in Paediatric Medicine and obtaining their FRACP degree.
