Anita Hackett

Anita Hackett is the Chief Product Officer at Valocity Global. Anita has over fifteen years of experience in financial planning and product management. Anita has a proven track record of delivering strategic change and operational excellence within large organisations.

Anita began their career as a Financial Planner at St.George Bank in 2005. In this role, they provided advice and solutions to clients to help them achieve their financial goals. After nine years in this role, Anita was promoted to Chief Product Owner at ING Australia. In this role, they led a team of product owners and squads to deliver strategic change of bank wide compliance initiatives and operational excellence to back office functions. Anita managed the change budget to develop a change roadmap aligned to the bank’s wide strategy and was accountable for delivery from concept to benefit realisation.

In their current role as Chief Product Officer at Valocity Global, Anita is responsible for prioritising and allocating work to squads in line with the company’s strategic objectives, developing innovative solutions to improve systems and processes, and managing funding across the product portfolio. Anita also oversees stakeholder management, engagement and negotiation across all levels of the organisation. Anita is a decisive leader with a proven ability to mentor and motivate teams to achieve optimal results. Anita is also accountable for operational and regulatory risk in relation to product build and delivery to market.

Anita Hackett has completed a Foundations of General Management program at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, a CSPO certification in Agile Product Ownership from AXIS Agile, and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning from Mentor Training.

They work with Kerry Stewart - Head of Asia Pacific, Nathan Scott - Chief Technology Officer, and Chris Lowe - Global Chief Data Officer. Their manager is Carmen Vicelich, Founder and Global CEO.
