Erik Neill

Dean of Academics at Valor Christian School International

Erik Neill is the Dean of Academics at Valor Christian School International. Erik has been teaching since August 2009, when they started at Life Christian School. Erik taught upper division, concurrent credit and AP science courses there until June 2016. Erik then moved to Heritage Christian School, where they taught for one year before coming to Valor Christian in 2017.

Erik has also worked as a Reporting Analyst for TestAmerica and as a Graduate Student at Portland State University. As a Graduate Student, they taught up to 3 laboratory sections per quarter for Principles of Biology, created and maintained a database to track lab grades for 300 students in 12 lab sections, and authored a research grant on The Effects of Ionic and Osmotic Stress on the Isolated Anuran Brainstem.

Erik Neill has a Master of Science in Biology from Portland State University, a BS in Biology from George Fox University, and a BA in Philosophy from George Fox University.
