Alexis Morris has a strong background in education, with experience in various roles. Alexis began their career as a Lead Teacher at RePublic Schools in July 2016. Alexis then transitioned to the role of Dean of Students in January 2020, where they served until January 2022. Following that, they became an Assistant Principal at RePublic Schools from July 2021 to December 2022. Currently, Alexis is serving as the Director of Family Engagement at Valor Collegiate Academies, starting in July 2022.
Alexis Morris completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development from Tennessee State University, where they studied from 2010 to 2015. In 2022, they attended Trevecca Nazarene University to pursue a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, specializing in the field of study of General Education.
