Leah Shorb

Leah Shorb is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher at Valor Collegiate Academies since July 2022. Previously, Leah worked as a Teacher and Program Coordinator at The Traveling School from August 2021 to July 2022, and held roles as a Gap Semester Instructor and Trip Leader at ARCC Programs from June 2017 to October 2021. During a temporary position at Brown University from October 2019 to May 2020, Leah functioned as a Transformative Justice Practitioner, engaging in bi-weekly trainings and leading a Participatory Action Research project. Additional experience includes serving as an Assistant Lacrosse Coach at Maya Lacrosse and as an English Teacher at Safe Passage from February 2014 to June 2017. Leah's education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Brown University and ongoing studies for a Master of Arts in Teaching at Relay Graduate School of Education.
