Lauren Tashman

Master Coach at Valor Performance

Lauren Tashman is currently the Master Coach at Valor Performance. Prior to this, they served on the advisory board and as an adjunct faculty member at Holy Names University from August 2020 to August 2022. Lauren has also worked as an adjunct professor at Iona College and as a mental performance coach at Golf & Body NYC and the Softball Canada Women's National Team. In addition, they have experience as a performance coach and consultant with Align Performance, LLC.

Lauren Tashman holds a PhD in Sport Psychology from Florida State University, an MS in Sport Psychology from Florida State University, and a BA in Psychology from The College of New Jersey. Lauren is also certified by Coursera in Removing Barriers to Change and Inclusive Leadership: The Power of Workplace Diversity, and by the Association for Applied Sport Psychology as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC). Additionally, they hold certifications from Florida State University in Measurement & Statistics and Program Evaluation.

They work with Tyshawn Abbott - Performance Coach, Jeff Butler - Performance Coach, and Judy Brown Clarke - Performance Coach. Their manager is Jeff Coleman, VP of Coaching.
