Don Cotey

Don Cotey is currently the President at Valortech. Prior to this, they were the Transformative Chief Executive at Omni Resources from March 2017 to December 2018. In this role, they developed the Strategic Vision and Business Plan to transition the company from “IT Staffing” to “Integrated Partner Solutions” and “SaaS-based” business models. Don also initiated Business Partnerships with IBM, Google, Amazon Web Services, Tech Data and numerous Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing software vendors.

From January 2015 to March 2020, Cotey was a Digital Technologies Thought Leader at IT Finity Solutions. In this role, they were responsible for leading internal projects to expand the organizations capabilities, including performance scorecards, personnel appraisals and recognition, new employee onboarding, leadership development, client satisfaction surveys, digital marketing, website refresh, outbound demand generation campaigns, annual account planning, solution selling and process excellence.

Cotey began their career as a Global Leader of Strategic Alliances Program at CenturyLink from January 2014 to December 2014. In this role, they were responsible for developing and executing CenturyLink’s strategy for alliances with other technology companies. Don also managed a team of alliance managers and business development professionals.

Don Cotey attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned a Bachelor's of Business Administration. Don's field was in Accounting & Management Information Systems. After graduation, they went on to earn certification from IBM Global Services as a Certified Business Consultant.
