Marcelo Bastos

Marcelo Bastos is an accomplished executive and board member with extensive experience in the mining and resources sectors. Currently serving as the Non-Executive Director and Chair of Sustainability at IGO Ltd, as well as the Group Chair of The CEO Circle, Marcelo has held significant roles with various organizations, including Anglo American as Company Board Director and Chair of Global Workforce Advisory and Aurizon as Company Board Director and Chair of Safety, Health and Environment Committee. In addition to ownership of BASTOS Consulting, Marcelo has provided advisory services to international companies and has previously held leadership positions at Iluka Resources, Golder, and MMG Limited. Marcelo holds an MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral and has completed several executive programs at prestigious institutions such as Columbia Business School and INSEAD.
