Marianna Karvonen

Marianna Karvonen has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Marianna began their career in 2012 as a Team Assistant in the Information Technology department of Valmet, where they were responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and managing the global invoicing process. Marianna then worked as a Horse Stable Worker trainee at Hiekkalan Hevospalvelut in 2015.

In 2016, Marianna joined Bilfinger Industrial Services Finland Oy as an Assistant, where they provided support to the team. From 2018 to 2018, they worked as an Office Assistant at Kasvun Roihu, assisting the team in achieving their goals and providing background work for the Kasvu Open Growth Tracks.

In 2020, Marianna took on the role of Environmental Coordinator at Saimaarium Nature and Science Center, where they provided financial, HR, communications, and marketing assistance. However, their employment ended due to the influence of the coronavirus epidemic on the industry. Later that year, they worked as a Production Worker at Serres Oy, where they were involved in quality control and packaging of medical devices on a contract basis.

In 2021, Marianna joined Serres Oy again, this time as an Accounting Specialist, responsible for financial tasks. Marianna also briefly served as a Financial Coordinator at Logmore Oy (Go On Jyväskylä). Since 2023, they have been working as a Finance Assistant at Valtra Inc.

Marianna Karvonen earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. In 1999 to 2001, they obtained a Vocational Qualification in Business Administration from Jyväskylä Business College. Additionally, they completed a Course in Digital services and tools at Avartum Instituutti Oy from 2017 to 2018. Furthermore, Marianna pursued a Curso de Estudios Hispánicos at Universidad de Granada for the year 2014. Marianna also acquired knowledge in Organizational Communications through basic studies at the Open University of the University of Jyväskylä, where they completed their coursework from 2008 to 2009. Recently, in 2018 to 2019, Marianna completed a Vocational Qualification in Natural and Environmental Protection at POKE Vocational College.
