Rebecca Fries

Rebecca Fries is the Chief Executive Officer and Founding Director of Value For Women Ltd., a position held since September 2012, where the focus is on women's empowerment and gender inclusion as critical drivers of economic and social growth. Previous roles include Managing Director and Director/President at Oxfam GB, where Rebecca led initiatives such as the Gender Leadership Training programme and served as Gender, Markets, Livelihoods Advisor. Additional experience includes consultancy work for various organizations, including the American Jewish World Service and the Asian Development Bank. Educational credentials comprise a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Calgary, alongside a Bachelor of Arts from Brandon University and French studies at Université Laval.
