Kent Teague

Kent Teague has extensive experience in the banking industry. Kent currently holds the position of Chief Lending Officer at ValueBank Texas since September 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Market President at Bank OZK from May 2012 to August 2021. In this position, they were responsible for various lending activities, business development, and budget forecasting. Before Bank OZK, they held the role of Senior Vice President/Commercial Banker at Carolina Trust Bank from February 2008 to May 2012. Kent also worked as the Vice President/Market Executive at The Fidelity Bank from August 2004 to February 2008, Vice President/City Executive at Lexington State Bank from January 1998 to August 2004, Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager at Central Carolina Bank from March 1995 to January 1998, and Assistant Branch Manager at Bank of Granite from October 1989 to March 1995.

Kent Teague attended Catawba Valley Community College from 1980 to 1984, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Business Administration and Accounting. From 1984 to 1986, they pursued further education at Gardner-Webb University and obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Business Management. In 1995, they attended RMA/ECU for Commercial Lending. Kent then enrolled at the North Carolina School of Banking from 1996 to 1998, completing a Mid-Management program. In 1999, they attended RMA/ECU again for Advanced Commercial Lending. Lastly, in 2001, they completed a Commercial Real Estate Lending program at RMA/ECU.
