Gustavo Schmidt

Gustavo Schmidt is an experienced executive currently serving as Vice President and General Manager for the Latin America Region at Valvoline Global Operations since December 2023. Prior to this role, Gustavo held several significant positions at Softys and Kimberly-Clark, including General Manager for Mexico, Centroamérica & Caribe, and General Manager - President of Kimberly-Clark Brasil, where full P&L responsibility for a major division with extensive operations and revenue was maintained. Gustavo's career also includes leadership roles in the Andean Cluster and Argentina at Kimberly-Clark, focusing on operational excellence and strategic transformation. Additionally, Gustavo served as a Senior Manager at Deloitte Uruguay early in the professional journey and holds an MBA from IEEM - Escuela de Negocios and a Certified Board Member designation from Fundação Dom Cabral.
