Roger Dale England

Roger Dale England, PhD, currently serves as Chief Technical Officer and Vice President and Chief R&D Officer at Valvoline Global Operations since March 2023. Prior to this, Roger held various leadership positions at Valvoline Inc. from September 2017 to September 2023, including Vice President, Chief R&D Officer, Vice President of Global Technology, and Senior Director of Technology. Roger's extensive experience in materials technology was established during a 12-year tenure at Cummins Inc., where roles included Director of Materials Science & Technology, Worldwide Technical Quality Champion, and Asst. Chief Engineer. Roger has a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from Florida State University, a Master of Science in Materials from the University of Cincinnati, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
