Mike Critchlow

Vice President, North America Operations at Valvoline

Mike Critchlow has a solid work experience spanning over several industries. Mike started their career at Allegheny Ludlum Steel as a Superintendent of Rolling Operations, where they managed a rolling operation with a significant budget and a large team. After that, they joined Dietrich Industries as the Manager of Industrial Engineering and Safety, responsible for analyzing production processes and implementing improvements across multiple locations. In 2008, they joined Valvoline Inc. as a Plant Manager, responsible for the P&L of a lubricant packaging plant. Mike later advanced to become the North American Director of Operations, overseeing 12 manufacturing and packaging facilities. Currently, Mike holds the position of Vice President, North America Operations at Valvoline, with responsibilities including managing manufacturing, scheduling, safety, budgeting, and more. Their accomplishments include implementing Lean Manufacturing programs, maintaining six sigma and ISO certifications, and improving cost efficiencies and quality.

Mike Critchlow received their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University from 1985 to 1989. Mike later pursued further education and obtained their Master's degree in Business Administration from Robert Morris University from 1992 to 1995.
