Craig Sternberg

Craig Sternberg has worked in the music industry for over 15 years, beginning in 2006 when they founded Craig Sternberg Music, where they served as a composer, music producer, studio musician, and music instructor. In 2020, they took on the role of Head of Sales and Business Development at Impact Soundworks LLC, where they quickly built business for the music software company, directing market expansion, B2B sales growth, and business development strategies. In 2021, Craig was hired as Vice President of Music at American Picture House Corporation, where they partnered with the COO to invent a global music streaming app and worked with directors and producers to select music for films, trailers, advertising, and marketing materials.

Craig then joined DL Music as Director of Creative Services & Client Relations, wearing multiple hats and driving business development, sales, marketing, and brand content, while managing existing clients, creative services, and 480 composers. In 2021, they also took on the role of Head of Sales at Vampr, a music technology start-up with a social music platform. Craig sold $65K of in-app placements in the first 3 months, exceeding sales goals and reaching full capacity for inventory by leveraging music retail industry network. Craig also pioneered a B2B data product for record labels and brands, producing $5K in monthly data sales, contributing to 22% MoM revenue growth in 2021.

In 2022, Craig assumed the role of Senior Vice President of Artist & Label Relations at FANS.INC. Additionally, Craig has held various freelance roles in music retail and marketing, including VP of Sales & Marketing at Boldface Gear and Music Liaison & Investor Relations at Animal Concerts. Craig has also held roles at Keyboard Concepts, where they drove business, sales, and profitability at the crest of the COVID pandemic, and at Premier Builders Guild, where they headed digital marketing strategies for the product lines of 6 high-end guitar brands.

Craig Sternberg completed their high school diploma at Mayfair High School between 2002 and 2006. Craig then went on to Musicians Institute, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Guitar Performance between 2006 and 2008. In 2018, Craig obtained an Avid Certified User for Pro Tools certification from Avid. In 2019, they obtained an Apple Certified Pro - Logic Pro X certification from Apple. In 2020, they obtained an Ableton Live Certified Trainer certification from Ableton.
