Ryan B.

Ryan B. has a diverse work experience starting in 2011 at Spectrum Health as a Clinical Research Associate. In this role, they coordinated clinical research trials, handled research data and specimens, and prepared and submitted documents to the Institutional Review Board. Ryan then moved on to Perrigo Company plc in 2013, where they worked as a Quality Control Lab Analyst and later as a Chemist II. Ryan'sresponsibilities included raw materials testing, chemical testing, mentoring new employees, and working on Lean Sigma company projects. In 2015, Ryan joined Van Andel Institute as an IRB & COI Compliance Specialist II before transitioning to a Clinical Research Analyst role. Ryan assisted in managing clinical trials, facilitated project proposal development, and monitored daily activities. Currently, Ryan holds the position of Program Director of Translational Research at Van Andel Institute, where they serve as an expert resource for translational biomedical research and manages an international translational cancer research consortium.

Ryan B. has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Grand Valley State University, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biomedical Sciences, General, also from Grand Valley State University. Before attending university, Ryan completed an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Social Sciences from Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
