Kareen Dillard-Biggs

Kareen Dillard-Biggs is an experienced high school science teacher with a strong background in biology, anatomy and physiology, and health careers exploration, currently teaching at Southfield Public Schools since October 2022. Previous roles include teaching biology at Van Buren County Schools and serving as a 7th grade science teacher and team leader at Summit Parkway Middle School. Kareen has leveraged innovative methodologies such as Restorative Practices, project-based learning, and Power Standards to enhance student engagement and mastery. Additional experience includes leadership as a camp director and supporting at-risk students at Pathways Academy. Kareen holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Hampton University and a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Phoenix.
