Koen Druyts

Koen Druyts is an experienced professional in the insurance industry, currently serving as the Manager of Operations at Van Dessel Insurance Brokers since January 2021. As Co-Founder of CyberContract, established in July 2014, Koen is instrumental in developing an online insurance underwriter focused on cyber insurance, overseeing strategic, IT, and marketing initiatives. Additionally, Koen co-founded ReThink-IT in January 2017 to deliver innovative software solutions for insurance brokers, enhancing contract subscription and management capabilities. Previously, Koen was a Co-Owner at Swaegers Verzekeringen NV from May 1995 to December 2022, transforming the business into a medium-sized broker with niche specializations. Koen also contributed to SWV Holding as a Co-Founder, devising new business strategies for insurance brokers from July 2005 to December 2022. Early career experiences include a management trainee position at Generale Bank. Koen holds a Master's degree in Civil Chemical Engineering from KU Leuven and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Insurance from Syntra, along with additional education from AXA Business School.
