Michael Wissot

Michael Wissot has a diverse range of work experience. Michael started their career in 1997 as a Public Relations professional at Hill & Knowlton. Michael then worked as a Staffer to Senator John McCain and the Committee on Commerce, Science & Transportation in 1998. Following that, they served as the CEO of Dentistry.com from 1999 to 2003.

From 2003 to 2004, Michael held the position of Executive Director, Southern California at the Jewish Policy Center, where they increased the organization's financial and communication capabilities. Michael was also Vice President at Luntz Global from 2004 to 2005.

Michael taught courses as an Adjunct Professor of Communication at Pepperdine University from 2003 to 2010, earning the "Adjunct Professor of the Year" award in 2009. Michael then moved on to become a Lecturer at the University of Southern California in 2010, teaching various courses in communication.

In 2011, Michael served as a Senior Strategist at Luntz Global for a year. Michael joined Van Dyk Health Care in 2016 as the Chief Operating Officer and continues in that role.

Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated strong teaching and leadership skills, receiving accolades such as the 2020 USC Mentor of the Year award.

Michael Wissot has a diverse education history. Michael began their academic journey at James Madison University from 1992 to 1996, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication. Following that, they enrolled at the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management, from 1996 to 1998, to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing. Later, from 1998 to 1999, Michael attended the Thunderbird School of Global Management, where they obtained a Master of International Management (MIM) degree. During their time at Thunderbird, their field of study was International Political Economy.
