Joost Franken

Joost Franken has a strong background in the legal field, with extensive work experience in various positions. Joost currently holds the role of Lead Expert Legal at Van Lanschot Kempen since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Legal Counsel at Clearstream from December 2020 to June 2022. Before that, they worked as a Lawyer at PwC from September 2019 to December 2020. Joost also served as an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley from January 2016 to July 2018, and as an Axiom Lawyer on secondment at Morgan Stanley from September 2014 to January 2016. Joost also completed a program in Accounting and Valuations at the Amsterdam Institute of Finance. Prior to university, Joost obtained a Testamur in English languages and Classics from the University of Exeter. Joost completed their pre-university education at Stedelijk Gymnasium Breda, earning a VWO degree. Additionally, Joost has obtained certifications as a Solicitor (England & Wales) from the Solicitors Regulation Authority in 2017 and as a Dutch qualified lawyer from the Amsterdamse Orde van Advocaten in 2006.
