Elizabeth Wiersma

Elizabeth Wiersma has a diverse work experience spanning across various architectural and design firms. Elizabeth worked as an Architectural Designer II at Van Metre Companies, starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Architectural Designer I at the same company from October 2020 to February 2023. Elizabeth also gained experience as a Winter Extern at Grimm + Parker Architects in January 2020. Elizabeth worked as an Architectural Intern at KCCT Architects from May 2019 to August 2019, where they focused on a historic preservation project. In January 2019, they served as a Winter Extern at Hartman-Cox Architects, assisting with a building restoration project. In 2018, Elizabeth worked as an Intern at Washingtonian Interiors, assisting with design projects and renderings. Before their career in architecture, they gained valuable customer service experience as a Hostess at Nando's PERi-PERi USA from May 2017 to August 2018. Elizabeth's earlier experience includes working as a Waitress at Erickson Living from August 2015 to May 2016.

Elizabeth Wiersma attended Broad Run High School from 2012 to 2016. After completing their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor's of Science degree in Architecture at The University of Virginia School of Architecture from 2016 to 2020.
