David Yaffe

David Yaffe is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in energy law and public policy. Yaffe has served as a Professorial Lecturer in Energy Law at The George Washington University Law School since September 2009. In the legal field, Yaffe has been associated with Van Ness Feldman LLP since February 1996, progressing through roles as Senior Counsel, Of Counsel, and Partner, specializing in areas such as energy, environment, and real estate. Prior to this, Yaffe was a Partner at Duncan & Allen from September 1977 to January 1996, where responsibilities included serving as Managing Partner from 1988 to 1995. Yaffe holds a JD from The George Washington University Law School, obtained between 1974 and 1977, and a BA in Political Science and Economics from The Johns Hopkins University, earned between 1970 and 1974.
