Peter Smit

Peter Smit is an accomplished manager with extensive experience in the construction materials and concrete products sector. Since joining Van Nieuwpoort Groep in 2002, Peter has led significant projects, including the redevelopment of the Veghel inner port into an industrial area and the divestment and redevelopment of a concrete products factory in Son. Prior to this role, Peter served as a lobbyist and policy maker for the Vereniging van Ondernemingen van Betonmortelfabrikanten in Nederland, where expertise in building, environmental, and safety regulations was utilized. Peter’s career began as a KAM manager at Papiercentrale Twente BV. Educational qualifications include degrees from the University of Twente, Saxion University of Applied Sciences, and various other specialized training programs in the field.
