Elizabeth Adkins

Elizabeth Adkins has a diverse work experience in the furniture industry. Elizabeth started their career as a Merchandising Intern at Hooker Furniture Corporation in 2012. Elizabeth then worked as a New College Intern at Bassett Mirror Company, where they successfully improved overseas shipping procedures and assisted with front desk operations during the Highpoint Furniture Market.

Adkins continued to gain experience at Bassett Furniture Industries as a New College Intern, where they managed social media for the HGTV Home Furniture Collection, assisted with planning the Bassett Annual Conference, and completed trend research.

In 2016, Adkins joined Hooker Furniture Corporation as a Product Development Administrator, responsible for new product development. Elizabeth later took on the role of New Product Development Manager, overseeing the development of new products until May 2020.

Currently, Adkins is the Head of Product Lifecycle Management at Van Thiel & Co, a position they assumed in May 2021. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in product development, management, and trend research in the furniture industry.

Elizabeth Adkins earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Longwood University. Elizabeth attended Longwood University from 2013 to 2016. Prior to their enrollment at Longwood University and after their graduation, they had no recorded education history.
