Maya S Jones

Maya S Jones has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Maya S started their career as a Field Reporter Intern at The Amsterdam News in 2013 and then worked as a Creative Content Intern at WBAI Radio and as an Editorial Writer Intern at VIBE Magazine in 2014. In the same year, they also joined CUNY York College as a YCradio On-Air Host, where they played a key role in the significant growth of the station.

In 2016, Maya joined iHeartMedia as a Traffic Producer/Traffic Anchor, where they provided on-air traffic updates and public service announcements to Charlotte commuters. Maya S also worked as a Seasonal Lead Operations Technician at ANC, where they were responsible for equipment setup, maintenance, and production for LED panels and Coaxial cables, particularly during home games of the Charlotte Hornets.

Maya's experience at TEKsystems from 2017 to 2020 showcased their skills in project coordination, knowledge management, release readiness coordination, and application planning and testing. Maya S also worked as a Technical Writer for TEKsystems, providing technical writing support for software apps and shared network files for Bank of America's global development team.

Maya S then joined Freedom Mortgage in 2020 as a Business System Analyst, where they contributed to the company's business analysis efforts. In 2022, Maya joined Bank of America as a Vice President, Product Owner, where they currently hold a leadership role in product ownership.

Maya S Jones began their educational journey in 2010 at CUNY York College, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism. Maya S spent five years at the college, completing their studies in 2015. In 2017, Maya enrolled at Southern New Hampshire University to further their education in the field of Information Technology. Maya S pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree and successfully completed their studies in 2021.
