Robert Ayer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in HVAC engineering and commissioning. Currently serving as a Commissioning Agent at Van Zelm Engineers and a Senior Commissioning Consultant at van Zelm Heywood & Shadford, Inc. since 2008, Robert has also held the position of HVAC Engineer at VanZelm Engineers since 1987. Previous roles include Engineering Design Consultant and Design Build Engineer at EMCOR Services New England Mechanical (NEMSI) between 2005 and 2010. Robert earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering Technology/Technician from New England Technical Institute from 1980 to 1984.
