Kahtaf Alam

Kahtaf Alam is an experienced engineering manager currently leading a team at Vana, where responsibilities include developing APIs for personalized AI experiences and ensuring privacy and security in design. Previously, Kahtaf served as a technical lead and senior software engineer, successfully launching an AI image generation app and designing innovative encryption methods. Kahtaf has held senior engineering roles at ApplyBoard and AppCentrica Inc., focusing on MLOps, API development, and project leadership in cloud technologies. Additional experience includes software engineering roles at IBM, contributing to the WebSphere Application Server and developing test frameworks. Kahtaf holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto.
