Lynda Tang

Associate Medical Director of Communication at Vancouver Clinic

Dr. Tang hails from Virginia where she graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in English Literature. She obtained her medical degree from the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed residency in Family Medicine at Wilson Medical Center in upstate New York. She went on to fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Tang is board certified in Family Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Her academic interest is in healthcare communication education.

She believes that palliative medicine provides the invitation for clinicians to walk with patients on their difficult journey and strives to make each step comfortable and gentle. Her approach to delivering whole-person patient care involves engaging the patient’s loved ones in order to guide them through complex medical decisions. Her patients have taught her how to live a meaningful life and embrace the present moment.

Dr. Tang and her husband have two daughters. In her spare time, she plays the ukulele and crafts paper. She speaks fluent Vietnamese.
