Amanda Chisholm possesses extensive experience in health research and strategic partnerships, currently serving as the Director of Research Development and Strategic Partnerships at Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute since July 2018. In this role, Amanda has driven growth in strategic priority areas through the planning and implementation of funding programs to enhance health research capacity. Former positions include Senior Manager of Education and Funding Initiatives, where Amanda managed internal research funding competitions, and Project Manager for the BC Health Research Connection project aimed at connecting patients with health research opportunities. Prior experiences include a Postdoctoral Fellowship at The University of British Columbia, and various roles at the University of Toronto and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, alongside a robust educational background culminating in a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Toronto.
