Michael Gray

Michael Gray is an experienced professional in human resources and labor relations, currently serving as the Executive Director of Employee Services at the Vancouver School Board since September 2023. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Superintendent of Human Resources & International Education at the York Catholic District School Board from August 2019 to September 2023. Michael's extensive background includes various leadership positions such as Superintendent of Education, Human Resources/Administrative Services & Chief Negotiations Officer at the Durham Catholic District School Board and Director of Policy in the Education Labour Relations Division for the Ontario Ministry of Education. Michael also has experience in labor relations at organizations including the University of Toronto and Air Canada. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Saint Mary's University.
